finally finish e backlog of newspaper & quite a num of headlines caught my eyes..
1. inequality ranking
as expected, sg ranking is still quite bad..
makes me wonder how japan does it..
& is e gahmen doing too little too late??
2. sino-japan tension
its was like 'not again' when i saw e news..
but i must admit it is a tricky situation 剪不斷， 理還亂。。
though i dunno the history behind it.. was too young when i saw this issue & subsequently never bother to find out more.. =X
at times i do wonder how to progress into e future when the past is still stuck in the present??
3. currency war
kinda info loaded with regard to this matter..
but e 2 main character is still USA & China..
hmm shall i take some popcorn, sit at a corner & watch show?? =P
it will be interesting to see how things turn out at e G20 summit..
4. commonwealth games
wasn't that interested as compared to the Asian Games..
but the bad press abt the host country, India, did caught my attention..
at times one realli need the timing factor on his/her side..
perhaps India still doesnt realli have the infrastructure & facilities to hold a widely successful big scale event yet..
this reminds me of China..
the failed bidding of 2000 Olympics turns out to be a blessing in disguise for her..
cos in 2008, China is definitely much more economically stronger and more well prepared to host the Games as compared to yr 2000
5. peter lim bidding for liverpool
as a liverpool supporter, i wonder how he is going to manage a football team when his expertise isnt there..
i realli do hope liverpool got better owners & buy better players for next season!
6. north korea

personally dun think it will yield any significant effect..
does e govt not heard of this term called 'liquidity trap'??
or jus doing sth for show niah??
