Paul the octopus has a new role: become an official ambassador for England's bid to host the World Cup tournament in 2018!
i guess tis is e 1st time an animal has become an ambassador??

& apparently Paul has signed a book deal, is due to appear in a film and is the face of a range of merchandise, with the proceeds to be donated to charity (taken from: http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20100820/tsp-britain-germany-animal-offbeat-fbl-w-47c0590_1.html)
