hasnt been following the Laos SEA games and Copenhagen Climate Summit as close as i wld like..

but glad that Team Singapore perform well, esp in swimming!! ^^
realli hope e swimmers can then proceed to shine at e world stage, jiayou!!
however, is spore too reliant on swimming and table tennis to bring in e medals??
on e other hand, can also say that sailing and bowling are not included in this SEA games program ba..

well, lets wait for next yr to see Team Singapore perform again..
next yr seems to be a yr for sports fans..
got YOG, Asian Games and of course, my fave & e most anticipated of all, World Cup!!!! =D

oh no, then i think my super dark circles can hardly fade away liao.. =(
& i cant help but think is my persistent dark circles e 1st sign of aging?
cos i used to apply eye cream and next morning they are more or less gone..
but not for these few weeks.. *sob sob*

as for the Copenhagen summit, well, i dunno how to analyse e final outcome..
initially i was quite afraid tt it will end up like e Doha round which officially broke down in terms of negotiation 2 yrs back and somehow din get going again..
for this summit, we can see a repeat of history..
a 'showdown' between the developed and developing country..
its realli 公说公有理, 婆说婆有理。。
expected cos 一种米养百种人
not surprising tt each country put its own interest first
but tts when econs said, leading to collective failure..

when things are in a deadlock cos neither side giv way making the progress to be in a bleak, fortunately, e world leaders realise the seriousness of the prob to come together to agree on a last min agreement..
haven read the reports in full yet so dunno wat are the conditions etc..
but reviews hav been mixed with some even calling it a flop and next yr going to hav another summit to hav a international legally binding agreement..

is Pres Obama right in saying that 'having a flawed plan is better than no plan at all?'

are the countries serious in tackling e prob of global warming in e 1st place??
& not forgetting there are still some naysayers ard..

can e world leaders put their heart and soul in making sure tt next yr talks will work??

finally how much exactly is the price/opportunity of delaying in protecting our Mother Earth??
esp when scientists are not too optimistic abt e future

in comparison, shd i say tt its an 'improvement' over the Doha round??

then can i see some light for the future development for the Doha round of talks??
