although yes, i've won movie tix, hampers, vouchers etc in contests/competitions/lucky draws and tio 4D/toto a few times before, the monetary value is not alot.. at most with a value of 300?
then now i won a professional mixer worth $1000+

anyway e story goes like this:
went to Hort Park with my mum on sun for the Clean and Green Singapore 2010.
wat attracted me initially is actualli the location.. lolz
cos me n ning has been mentioning to go there since beginning of e yr..
but then my mum also like to go so i decide to accompany my mum to go there instead b4 she nag me for not going out with her again..
anyway down there got several booths on the green theme and some game booth..
& there's a booth tt has this Terak Pak Challenge to guess the num of flattened drink packets in a carton and the clue is e number is between 1100 and 1200.
somehow e 1st number tt comes to my mind is 1188.
so i jus fill up e coupon and drop it in e box, thinking 'aiya, jus for fun'
turns out tt my guess is correct & i end up getting e 2nd prize
hmm wat's e probability of tt man?
though okay la, there are onli 2 prizes given out =P
seems like my instinct realli quite good.. lolz
& cos of this, i met SQ..
i knew he's there helping out la cos he works in NEA but i din go find him cos i presume he's busy plus im with my mum..
he said when he heard e MC announcing my name, he was like 'hmm this name sounds veri familar'
then he got a shock when he saw me realli going up e stage..
haha, din expect me to go to such event issit??

cos before e lucky draw i was playing e games at the various booth and there's this spin-the-wheel and if u spin till 25 degree (the energy efficient temperature) u can get a bookmark which is quite nice..
so i was trying my luck but on both times e pin jus simply refuses to move a little more to e magical 25..
but i end up bringing home a $1000+ worth of electrical appliance..
wat irony..
if u've missed e chance to participate in this event, it will be held at various CDCs this coming weekend..
look out for the Terak Pak challenge and the super nice cum auspicious number! =P
for e Hort Park, generally a nice place
i wld like to go there again if not for its inaccessibility..
will like to check out the glasshouse and butterfly garden which were closed on sun.. =(
& since im on e topic of free stuff, got 2 batches of free samples from Fr3b..
their sample range getting more exciting but my main grouse is still e sample size..
generally they are too small and by e time i finish e sample, i still cant feel or see e difference..
or maybe my skin too slow to react/absorb??
& e admin team isnt veri friendly and helpful too..
wondering if i shd join the other sample site..
can say tt im quite disappointed in this batch of samples..
