one month before my birthday and i alr had 4 companies sending their birthday greetings + treats.. a tad too fast liao la... i dun wanna turn 25 so fast leh... =P
some of the treats are rather useful.. will try to use them.. wonder which other cos will be sending me more bday offers.. lolz..
& seems like John Little & Tangs got sale again.. realli keeping my hands off shoppin le.. esp aft looking at how much i spent during GSS and the current mayuki sale.. =P
first time went to a forum outing w me knowing onli a few of them by nick.. can see how involved i am in the forum now..
anyway quite a fun outing.. ^^
jus tt there are too mani ppl to allow for decent interaction time with each of them so i end up onli knowing ard 1/3 of them..
& out of nowhere i got a 'godson'.. *diaoz* i got so old meh?? 不管，我打死不认。。。 =P 把他当弟弟。。 haha
& someone actualli say we looks related somehow.. best lor.. prob of having a common face i guess.. cos since sec 1, also got teacher got ask me if i got an elder sister.. *dot*
anyway dunno why but i become photographer of the outing.. normal frens gathering still can understand la, but here hardly knows anyone in e 1st place become photographer.. & took 100+ photos somemore..
looks like i got e mindset of 'since shooting is FOC, why not?' n cos of this mentality, my photobucket acct is 70% full le.. shitto!! i onli store photos from last May onwards n still left out the cruise + my family photos leh.. to think i still wanna store my commencement + japan photos up there.. & i haven develop most of the photos.. mum has been nagging tt for months le.. & think i will faint when it comes to developing.. simply loads of them i like to print out.. hmm guess its a happy problem ba.. at least next time i wont grumble how come not much memories of the younger days.. lolz..

finally NJ got a president scholar.. aft a long 13 yrs.. heard tt the president scholar's list on at lib area has now been replaced by a TV.. dunno if its cos lack of president's scholar in recent yrs.. =P
anyway this yr is sure a bumper crop yr for president's scholar.. there are 6 of them!! & 50% going to study Econs..
then today Sunday's Times feature MM Lee's grandson about being top Econs student in Oxford.. never realise Econs is so popular.. cos from ppl i know, when i told them im majored in econs, they were like 'why dun take biz instead?' etc..
but must admit we are mostly learning theory.. not much practical.. perhaps tts also why our chu lu not as diverse as biz students ba.. but never regretted taking econs ^^
an all gals day out today.. JN purposely choose this day to suit peggy's schedule.. & guess everyone realli missed her..
for a long time i can rem (since last yr's christmas chalet ba), econs hons clique in full attendance.. though got different ppl turn up in different timing la.. then plus some of our usual non-econs frens..
went for our fave ktv + dinner..
but didnt start out well for me though.. cos of all things, i overslept.. =.=" so reach there fashionably late..
then when i first stepped into the ktv outlet, the air con is colder than my office's air con.. & i din bring jacket/cardi/shawl/scarf.. as if that's not enough, my camera running low batt.. must have woken up from the left side of my bed..
okay la.. initially we can still tehan the air con and were quite active/playful in ktv.. i was kind of the paparazzi while jess is the floor manager overseeing the lightings (disco or stage) + effects (smoke, clapping sound)
and instead of the usual sitting down and sing, we took turns to go up to 'stage' to perform.. haha & there are 3 mics!! finally can sing SHE songs without passing the mic around until blur.. =P can say tt part of the reason we are so onz is cos the stage area is warmer than the sofa area.. lolz..
but during the last 2 hours of the ktv, everyone's tolerance of the cold seems to reach the max so peggy's + jess's shawls become hot property.. & we seems to be in hibernation mode.. become stick to our usual sitting position to sing and find some fast beat songs to sing before all of us fell asleep.. lolz
so at times its realli good to hav more fats in ur body.. i wonder how the staffs can tehan the air con.. but seriously the last time i went there its not cold at all leh.. tts also why i din bother to bring a shawl while rushing out.. next time must put my shawls at a prominent place so i can jus grab along my way out to whereever from home..
then went to have steamboat for dinner.. welcome break from the coldness.. & that's where peggy complaining no one went to HK to find her.. i want.. but i dun wanna travel alone.. wait till i pull one more person over ya? =P
this yr my travel plans pretty screwed up.. =( first japan, now recently taiwan.. sian 1/2.. dun care liao.. no matter wat is the yen rate, im going Kansai for sakura next yr.. lol
& my camera, despite the warning sign of low batt can still tehan till then.. thanks cam, u din failed me this time round.. =P
realise im rather impromptu in e past 2 wks or so.. can last min decide to go out one..
1. Swensen Ice Cream Buffet.. JN & Celine somemore can eat till sugar high.. & tts all we hav for dinner =P but later when im at home go toilet dunno how mani times.. think my stomach cant take e coldness liao..
2. drinking session with JN + Gor.. last min arrangement to meet up and catch up..
3. not forgetting Persids outing too! ^^ intention is to go ECP tml to catch one.. end up going Panda Reservoir with WD + her bf + ZP on wed night to watch..
The place is rather well lit which means bad news for us.. look on e bright side, at least now i knew another place not to go.. however, the sky is not too bad.. although there are clouds at the horizon and on the sky, the clouds are moving away from us thanks to the wind.. & we can see Summer triangle, Scorpius, Jupiter and some other stars which we cant figure out cos we din bring out star chart along with us.. =P surprisingly we cant see e moon and were wondering where it is.. lol.. unfortunately din get to see many during our hr plus long stay there.. one fren caught 3-4 while i caught 2
then not satisfied with my results, i went to catch again before i went home.. tts when i saw the moon lurking near the eastern horizon of the sky.. quite sinister looking =P it is not as bright as i thought and being rather low in the sky, the impact is rather minimal.. this time round, there is no visible clouds in the sky so i was rather excited for a while.. but thereafter realise there are high clouds cos the stars that ought to be clear are rather blur so onli reason is high clouds plus perhaps some haze le.. was gazing the sky for around 30 mins and saw 2-3 faint meteors..
overall, not a particularly fruitful night for me.. but got ppl who see beautiful meteors late at night.. hope i hav e opportunity to catch them at Geminids.. ^^
lastly hav a ECP outing.. this one not impromptu liao.. haha anyway one lesson: dun drive during wkends, PH!! trying to find a parking lot = can die!! YL spent over an hour searching for a space =.="
& i guess im stuck in e car too long until my mind cant think properly & start to say e inappropriate things.. *dot* then YL and JN were like so shocked.. now then i know i got 一語驚人的本領。。 =P
one wet blanket over there is that i still cant cycle well.. there are several times i nearly langga into a tree but luckily my braking skills is all right.. then thanks to ZP who decide to ride on a double bike with me when we are cycling again in e evening..
did a body mass test for fun.. n that's when i realise my weight increase to 47kg le.. an increment of 2kg in around 2.5 mths, jialat or not i dunno.. but confirm very elastic.. lolz.. but the stupid weighing scale at home still puts me at 44-45kg realli cant figure out why the disparity..
body fats is 21%.. wonder if im back to my normal weight range wat will become of the fats level.. cos when my weight is in free fall earlier, i not onli lost my water mass, i also lost some fat mass needs to ensure it wont reach beyond 23...
& this test says that im of standard size.. tts exactly wat my guy frens hav been telling me leh.. but some of my gals frens hold different views.. 原來男人看女人和女人看女人的眼光真的不一樣。。。
but this test does prove one thing im suspecting since young.. i have heavier than avg bones.. must realli thank all the milk i've drank since young.. ^^
seems like no one is keen to watch perseids except ning.. ='( but we 2 gals cant possibly stay overnight at ECP alone leh.. haiz.. i wanna watch meteors..
& Mayuki having their sales later in e day! getting excited =P hav accumulated quite a num of wanted items for the past few months.. hope they are not sold out and i can pick up a good bargain tml.. lol..
realise i got a backload of photos of various gatherings.. & as the photographer, i haven sent out the photos to my frens yet.. *oops* & u can see that there's quite a num of birthday celebrations going on.. i can wrote 3 birthday cards at one go, not a good experience cos i tend to 詞窮。。 & i foresee celebrating 2 more friend's birthday (a surprise one) in the upcoming ktv gathering.. then before long, it will be my turn end of next month.. NOOOO.. going 25 le.. =P
