went to christmas gathering despite my slight fever..
cos long time din have an econs gathering le..
this time round must really thank yanying for agreeing to hold the gathering at her place!
the attendees are more of those whom i dun really hang out with in NUS hence its a good chance for more interaction.. dun think its good to always hang out w e same old grp of ppl, i believe in moderation.. lol..
n as a gathering, who can forget abt food? initially vern the food IC was quite worried abt e food supply but in e end, e supply >> demand! think e guys all scared that there isnt enuff food to go ard so they went to stock food up =P
unlike last yr gathering, this yr i suppose its bcos of poorer attendance and no one has a concrete plan of activities, its a rather quiet event.. just some games and cracking of jokes..
but the "highlight" of the gathering is e blackjack session *heez*
played all e way till 2+ to 3am..
each of us take turns to be broker..
n i realise that one must sieze the chance as a broker cos tt's when u earn big bucks!
but tt will also nids to depend on kwee lim's luck.. he is quite lucky, a few times he got 21 points w just 2 cards!! speechless..
nevertheless, i have e feel that almost all earn when he/she is broker (din get a chance to get broker, shitto).
however, good luck is not a permanent feature in such sessions.. one loses all e $$ he earns when he is a broker to another person!!
if i were him, i will be damn sian lor.. but at e veri least, its not ur own 'capital' so its still all rite..
after playing for ard 3 hrs, did i gain or lose?
frankly speaking i dunno leh.. =P
shuold be a little gain, too negligible to take note.. lol..
but im also not e kind of person that will gamble big cos i know in e LR, one will sure lose one..
*anyway think i better dun post the photos here if not e gamblers may land in trouble.. haha*
